My name is Mallory Viola Garretson and I am a writer, runner, traveler, hiker, waitress, baker, sailor, snorkeler, berry picker, record collector, dancer, sister, friend, and lover of the Earth. Oh! And I take pictures with a disposable camera.
I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelors of Art, double- majoring in English (Creative Writing)-Environmental Studies in May 2015. Since then, I have lived and worked in the Adirondacks of New York to the Keys of Florida, and am now currently moving onto the next adventure: Michigan. Who knows where that will take me?
I love to write, and while sadly it is not my full time job, my hope is for this blog to expand and challenge my creativity and writing skills.
Pictures of Life is for all the writers, dreamers, and doers out there. You can simply follow along and read; laugh at times. But I also encourage you to write back, comment, send in your own pictures, take the prompt and work with it. Ever since college I have been seeking out a writing community to spotlight and share my work with. My goal for this blog is to do exactly that; for me, for you, for all of us.
